BREAKING NEWS – UFC Abu Dhabi fight off hours before event
UFC Abu Dhabi has lost a fight just meer hours before the event is due to start.
Islam Dulatov vs Wellington Turman has been pulled from the event, the UFC has confirmed. The UFC have stated that Dulatov was forced to pull out of the bout due to an undisclosed illness which has hospitalised him. Dulatov’s team have put out an official statement on his social media this morning confirming the bouts cancellation, stating:
It is with great dissapointment that we have to share the following news with you:
Last night, Islam was admitted to the hospital due to an infection and spent several hours receiving medical treatment.
Despite every effort to keep the fight on, the decision was made together with the UFC to withdraw him from the bout in the interest of his head and well-being.
Right now, the only priority is for Islam to make a full recovery. He will personally address everyone with a statement as soon as he is able.
