Taylor Starling explains why she walked out to Dolly Parton’s song ‘Jolene’ at BKFC Fenway

BKFC star Taylor “Killa Bee” Starling had arguably the best walkout at Fenway Park last weekend, with fans singing ‘Jolene’ by the late, great Dolly Parton.

“I don’t know what I’m going to walk out to. It usually just comes to me,” Starling told MMA Island on Tuesday regarding her walk-out song.

“Something just felt off…

“I was like man, I don’t know why I’m not in the groove and then Dolly Parton passed away…”

At that moment, the former BKFC title challenger knew what she had to do.

“I was like, I have to walk out to Dolly and I knew nobody was going to pick that. ‘Jolene’ is one of my favorite songs of all time.”

“It was amazing and to hear the crowd singing it in such a setting that is so not Jolene Dolly Parton, it was the best…”

“This [win] is for Dolly!” Starling continued.

“I feel like she was very misunderstood with the way that she presented herself.

“Everyone, everyone loves Dolly Parton. Big boobs, blonde hair, people are like, you look so trashy and tacky but she’s one of the most talented, sweetest human beings in the entire world. I feel like I reflect that. No better way to represent Dolly Parton.

Starling, 30, said this was one of the more memorable moments of her fighting career.
