BREAKING NEWS: PFL is no more! Merges with Jake Paul’s MVP

Most Vaulable Promotions (MVP) which is co-owned by Jake Paul has announced today (July 30th) that it is to merge with the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

The PFL which has been highly considered the number two MMA brand since its purchase of Bellator back in 2023, now a new era is about to begin as it is set to merge with MVP from 2027. MVP, which has focus on boxing prior to dipping their toes into the MMA waters back in May with the Netflix exclusive Rousey vs Carano card, will now look to compete directly with the UFC and Zuffa Boxing. As it merges “world-class boxing, MMA, live events, athelete development, and worldwide content distribution.

A statement by MVP states

“We started MVP to disrupt a broken model,” Paul said in the release. “We wanted to give fighters fair pay and a bigger, modernized stage to become global superstars. Joining forces with PFL accelerates that vision by a decade. We now have a scaled platform to give today’s fans what they want: elite talent mixed with culture, lifestyle, and massive social velocity.

“MVP was always bigger than me and bigger than any one fighter. MVP is an inevitable movement that needs to happen for the athletes, and now we have all the resources we need to build something that changes this sport forever. The PFLs next scheduled event is due this Friday for PFL New York, there is no word as of right now when MVPs next MMA event will take place.
